With the New Year approaching - another time of transition has come.
Considering the results from the survey I sent out earlier this year, I've decided to stay as a mostly remote counselling practice.
I will continue to offer counselling therapy through my independent practice: Myriame Lyons Counselling and Consulting.
What does this mean for you?
In the New Year, you will be able to book 2 types of counselling sessions: virtual or in-person.
Virtual counselling will be offered with my own booking system: https://myriamelyonscounselling.janeapp.com/ The booking process is no different from our usual booking system. Just follow the link above and sign in to book an appointment.
But what about in-person sessions?
While it's been hard decision to scale back from Local Health Integrative Clinic, I will continue to offer in-person sessions at their office.
If in the new year you want to book masked in-person sessions, you can do so using the same booking system: https://myriamelyonscounselling.janeapp.com/; Just make sure to select "in-person counselling" on the main page.
Check Out My Updated Website
Throughout the pandemic I reworked by website to include a lot more information about my style of therapy (or therapeutic approach), and areas of interest (like chronic illness, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, trauma, burnout and life transitions).
I also worked with organizations (like UBC) to offer workshops and presentations on a variety of topics (such as emotional resiliency, stress, mortality and grief, care partner burnout, self-care).
You can find out more about what I do - counselling therapy and all - on my website: https://myriamelyonscounselling.janeapp.com/ .
