Background & Approach
I have worked in the field of health and wellness for close to a decade supporting different populations with varying challenges. Most recently, I work with individuals living with chronic illnesses (or diseases) and their families, supporting them through consulting and counselling services in order to live their best lives today. In the past, I worked in private and public settings supporting families with children diagnosed with neuro-developmental disorders and behavioural challenges.
I have a passion for helping individuals lead a meaningful life through mindfulness, resiliency, and evidence-based practices (e.g., mindfulness, accelerated experiential dynamic psychotherapy (AEDP), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), cognitive processing therapy (CPT)).
I gratefully work and live on unceded Indigenous land belonging to the Coast Salish peoples, including the territories of the xʷməθkwəy̓əm (Musqueam), Skwxwú7mesh (Squamish), Səl̓ílwətaʔ (Tsleil-Waututh) Nations.
