We know that chronic diseases can place a significant stress on you and your family. One way to decrease your worries and resolve your burden is through building emotional resilience. Emotional resilience is a person’s ability to ‘bounce back’ from challenges and courageously move forward with the experiences that have happened. In this series, participants will gain emotional awareness, relaxation and grounding tools, new communication skills, and connect with others who are also going through similar life experiences. This program is for participants who are keen on engaging in group discussions about self-identity, roles changes, emotional and mental health, social and familial support, and more.
